Born in Czech Republic, studied+lived in south Germany for couple of years, living in Denmark for the last 20 years. Married to a danish guy, mom of 2 kids (10+14). Former high school teacher in german and religion, now studying to become a nurse. Love the long tecnical and hilly trails, 100+miles and love tough conditions. It´s more about adventures and experiencing nature and challenging myself. I love the complexity of the long races, it´s about much more than speed, it´s a huge puzzle with a lot of pieces: running+pace, terrain, nutrition, hydration, temperature, the elements, gear, skincare, navigation, sleep, self-care...and so on. I love that all the pieces must be in place, to come to the finish!
